Community wellness, redefined. 〰️
Founded by nutrition scientist Anna Garcia, M.S. Nutrition, the Latina Health Project is reshaping how health programs are developed and delivered. Through targeted strategies proven to improve health outcomes in traditionally underserved communities, our mission is to reduce health disparities and enhance the well-being of Latina women in the U.S. We integrate cutting-edge research with culturally tailored, community-driven solutions that deliver lasting real-life impact.
Our work prioritizes the unique health needs of Hispanic women living in America and addresses the prevention and care of conditions that disproportionately affect Latina populations. Grounded in rigorous data, we employ sustainable and scalable approaches to advance health equity and achieve meaningful, long-term improvements in the health status of Hispanic women and their communities across the nation.
Our founder’s dedication to improving the health status of Hispanic communities across the U.S. through the Latina Health Project has earned her the Innovator Award at Harvard University’s 2025 LEAD Conference and a recognition as a honoree of “24 Women of 2024” by NYC Celebrates Women awarded for her leadership in blending science, culture, and community.
